Calling all Girl Scientist Artists!

ChicksDigScience is looking for original art to feature in the SLOG! There are two types of submissions:

Solicited Contributions

We have a list of art we’re looking for to compliment future blog posts. Artists whose contributions are accepted will receive a payment of $25 for permission to use the piece in the SLOG and website (details below) and attribution for their pieces. All past and present SPICE campers and volunteers are eligible to contribute for solicited art pieces. If you’re interested in viewing the list of solicited pieces and getting on our artist list email Brandy at the SPICE Program.

Unsolicited Contributions

Any art by or depicting girl scientists is welcomed for submission to the SLOG. All pieces accepted for inclusion in the blog will be attributed to the author. If you are interested in soliciting a piece for the SLOG please contact the SPICE Program.

Use Agreement for Solicited Art Pieces

In exchange for a one time payment of $25 the creator agrees to permit use of the submitted artwork on the ChicksDigScience web site and blog. The creator also agrees to permit use of the art presentations of an educational or entertainment nature by the site owner (Brandy Todd). This permission only extends to unpaid presentations. The creator retains all right to use the art in any manner they see fit.
